Is it too late to call the police on my uncle?

My uncle threatened me with a knife and was acting childish and almost threw it at me and threw other stuff as well. I have 3 witnesses. They all say I should’ve called the police on him and so does my mom when I told her. Is it too late or can I still call?

It’s not too late. If he threatened you, and you have witnesses, it’s not too late. It’s never too late for the law
