Has anyone had to give up their collections for reasons beyond their control?

I might have had an unordinary collection, it was of folding pocket knives, and not the cheap stainless ones. I had a Damascus steel folder worth well over $250. And some vintage folders with trappers. All gone. Anyone had to give theirs up?

i have collected soo much stuff and had to give it many times like i used to collect knifes also and i collected guns and i collected cameras and hotwheels and stamps they got too out of control and i had to lose it all
