Knife Lanyard

question is more for cadets, but if you could answer it, please do?

where do you keep a pocket knife in your combat uniform/battle dress? do you keep it on a lanyard or just place it in the pocket?
what if your pocket knife dose not have a belt clip? would you put it on a cord or something? what pocket should it be in?

You keep it in your pocket. You can clip it to the side of the pocket if the knife has a little clip. You can get away with attaching it to your belt (whether or not it has a sheath) just be careful who you take off your blouse around if you go boots and uts.
