ASAP! What are the similarities between Taming of the Shrew and the ten things I hate about you?

i know the characters are similar but besides that? for ex: when patrick doesn’t kiss kat in TTIHAY that was the same simile as when Petruchio he keeps her from sleeping by blowing a trumpet, invents reasons why she cannot eat, and buys her beautiful clothes only to rip them up with a crudely forged bread knife so he can tame her. So does anyone have anymore similarities?
