how do i fix my spring assisted knife?

so i bought a spring assisted knife and it was opening really nice but after a couple of days its not opening all the way and (sure it might just be a cheap knife) but is there anyway to get it to open fast and at least last a little longer?

replace the spring
try lubricating the hinge pin with WD40
