Kershaw Knife Question?

Hi, I heard that all USA made kershaws have the month and year on the blades. I just purchased a Mini Cyclone (made in USA) and it does not. Can anyone clarify why this may be and which knives have the dates on them.

I have a Kershaw model 1475ST (Storm II) folding pocket knife with a 3 1/2″ blade. The date (month and year) is stamped on the base of the blade near the fulcrum point. I don’t know if Kershaw includes this feature with all of their knives. Just look carefully where the handle and the blade meet (at the fulcrum) and you may find the month and year stamped on the butt end of the blade.

Kershaw knives: Made in the USA or in China?
