Karambit Spring
Question about Indiana knife laws.?
I am going to buy a Karambit knife, but I am unsure about some of the laws. I checked the official law and I’m pretty sure spring assist knives are illegal to carry, so I’ll get a Karambit folding knife. However, it didn’t say anything about the length of the knife. What is the max length of a knife and is it illegal to carry a spring assist?
Thanks.
Indiana only outlaws switchblade type knives, which would cover a spring assist. Otherwise it is a very blade friendly state. However, beware that local municipalities are allowed to make there one laws pertaining to knives, so also check the local laws. Good luck and be safe.
