Japanese Tachi

Quick Japanese question.?
I’m going through the Japanese rosetta stone.. Just after a quick question.
If you have “Onnanoko tachi”, what does that translate as exactly?
I know onnanoko is girl, and tachi is “more than one”.
Would it be something like “Those girls”?
Literal meaning is “girls”, but actually “Those/ these/ the girls” would be better, I think.
It depend on context.
