reenlisting for japan army bases?

i am stationed in korea right now in the army, about to reenlist, i need to know if japan is a nice place to go to, and for how long will i stay there for if i choose it as my reenlistment option, also, i am married, but my wife will stay in philippines because she is studying, will i recieve the oha from japan or from philippine?

if you are in the Barracks you won’t get OHA at all. if you live in town you will get Single OHA for you . COLA only for yourself. no funds at all for the PI.

ETA: Archangel: only if you have orders to an OCONUS location can you receive OHA or COLA for that location regardless of how the orders are written. since the SM/OP will not be in the PI he is not entitled to PI COLA or OHA at all. even if his orders to Japan are Unaccompanied.
