Do you know where I could purchase WWII Shin Gunto seppa?

I have a wwii shin gunto sword and am i need of two seppa, to fully restore the sword.( http://www.k3.dion.ne.jp/~j-gunto/gunto_003.htm )They are the gold ones pictured on the website. Is there anyone out there that makes custom seppa? Or some where I could find oringinals? Thanks

That hesamurai is a complete scammer and is the owner of that website. They are horrible businessmen and do not have what you are looking for. I really despise that person and wish they would stop trying to rip people off.

To answer your question, there are a handful of places that probably have replica pieces, but I don’t know of a lot that have originals. Simply because there are probably more people in the same boat as you trying to build one up. Of course every part of the gunto was serial numbered to that sword so whatever you get will obviously appear as not to be an original. (every part of mine is serial numbered 229).

A simple search of the word “seppa” on ebay gave me 21 things. That might be the easy way to go. I haven’t heard of any places that offer just gunto parts. I need a couple seppa for a early 1700s katana I have and I am planning on going that route. Even if there are no gunto seppa on there right now, give it time, there are bound to be sometime in the future. Ebay has everything else.
