With the patch 4.0 we have been shifted into something much different than before. Hunter’s now solely rely off of focus which is similar to how a rogue uses energy. Not only have this but our talent trees been restructured from 71 points down to 36. While I do like the changes it can be hard to find a good Hunter PvP Guide that goes in depth.

So far Beast Mastery seems to be the way to go. BM is fun do to the fact that you rely on your pet to do majority of the damage. It also brings back the Vanilla WoW theme when BM was on top. The spec that is working for me right now is 33/0/3. With talents you will also want proper glyphs; I recommend glyph of Kill Shot, Arcane Shot and Steady Shot.

When looking through a Hunter PvP Guide you should definitely consider what professions you have.  Unless you have all the gold in the world it may be hard to buy all the enchants needed. I highly recommend picking up either leatherworking or jewel crafting. Having the best enchants will ultimately give you the advantage over your competitors.

The last thing to consider for Hunter PvP is what pet you will use. As you probably know different pets will do different abilities. It is really up to your play style, but a lot of people like Chimeras, core hounds and Silithids.
