Is an average skiier going to be able to ski gunstock?

While it has been about at least 15 years since I skied there, I’d say yes. It isn’t a bad mountain at all. I am not sure why these places label things as really hard (I am betting it is for insurance reasons) but there never seemed like much was there that was all that bad. Just stay on things you are comfortable, and don’t try to ski too far ebyond your abilities. Too many people who are strating out think that they are an expert skier just because you can ski an expert trail. But that is not how it works. You have to be able to ski it well, not just fall down the whole thing.
