does sleeping with a soother hurt your teeth?

i’ve needed my soother to sleep for a long time, now 18. it’s a gerber nuk 3 ortho one, that’s curved upwards. i like the regular shaped ones best though. but it’s still good.
i forgot to mention my dentist noticed i grinded my teeth, but i told her i didn’t. this maybe happens when the soother falls out, not sure?

Take up smoking, it will make you look cooler than a nuk, but if you must keep using the pacifier, consider a SOOOTHIE, they are all one peice of rubber and they totally minimize your chances of choking on any of the small parts.
