Why does my raptor 660 sputter and hesitate to accelerate at full throttle?

Hi im wondering why my raptor 660 with an alba racing pipe hesitates to accelerate at full throttle but not on half throttle? I also want to know why it would haw a slow gas leak when it is sitting and the gas is off? I tried loosening screws on carb and let fuel drain then tap the carb to reset the float… main question is throttle thong tho

Raptor carbs are famous for plugging with varnish from evaporating fuel, especially the pilot jets – your carbs are dirty and need a complete, thorough disassembly and cleaning.

Plugged main jets will cause the hesitation at full throttle, and plugged float valves will cause the leaking gas.

Once you have them clean and working well, every time you are going to store the Rappy for more than a few days, close the fuel petcock and idle the engine till it dies. This empties the fuel from the carbs and they won’t get gummed up ever again.
