Why hasn’t Pokemon mix all colors into the real version of Ash Ketchum?

Wouldn’t it would be cool if you start off Kanto region to Johto and all the way from Ruby to pokemon white?

That sounds like a grand idea. But since GSC Nintendo has decided to put minimum effort into the series and maximize on profit. I still believe there could be innovation that could had in the series easily, such as more customization options on the character, look of Pokemon in battle, and story in which you don’t have to follow the linear gameplay. But I’m hoping for a WRPG for this franchise, which is most unlikely. :/
