Is it legal for minors(16yrs) to carry a folding knife in california?

I am wondering if it is legal for a minor of sixteen years old to carry a rescue style folding knife of bright orange color in california? will there be any problems with the law? thanks

Under California law, it is not illegal for a juvenile or adult to carry a folding knife of any length, openly or concealed. However, you may not carry the knife on school grounds.
