Xbox 360 Live Arcade- Gaming Redefined

Of all the things that can be done with Xbox 360 live arcade , getting the games cheap is perhaps the best advantage. Microsoft Xbox live arcade is a membership that is used to administer games to your Xbox system. Live arcade will be included in your Microsoft Live account. Currently 146 game titles are available to download.

How Do I Get Xbox 360 Live Arcade Games?

All the games can be purchased with Microsoft points.Video games will be priced anywhere between 400 and 1600 points, although are less than 800.These games are games that most players are familiar with.  In general the games are not meant to be geared towards hard core gamer types, but rather are built to be enjoyable for the more casual gamer types.There are several fun and exciting games availble through Xbox arcade, but Im going to look at some of my personal favorites.

First up is Doom.On September 27th 06 Doom became available for Xbox live arcade.  This was one of my favorite games when it came it out and it is still loads of fun today.  Blast demons and go on a killing spree in the classic multi player first person shooter.  This game literally defined an entire genre and generation of games that came after it.  I still find it to be challenging enough and the replay value on it is really high.

Next up on my nostalgia list is cooperative play Defender.  This with Dig Dug, Double Dragon, and really any of the Coin-Op classics bring me back to my early gamer days.This side scroller spaceship game is seriously addictive now as it was then.When the modern games get to be to much you might find yourself spending hours flying and shooting.

The last one up is Buku Sudoku.Three hundred and sixty variations of the Sudoku puzzle game will give you hours of fun.Getting throught the maze of puzzles will be a challenge in this think man’s game.
