Edge Framelock

Would you suggest a serrated or plain old fine edged knife in the wild? Also, what is the difference between:

Linerlock, Framelock, and Lockback knives?
What is your feeling about those dual action both serrated and fine edged knives?

Double edged, one serrated the other not.
