Dragon Hand

Anyone know about pricing an alabaster stone carving of a dragon (hand carved..about 48lbs 12x14x5)?

any info would be great…like aprox. how much are other going for in this size bracket. All I can find are lamps and small carvings…the larger ones have little detail.

i assume it is your own work, and you worked very hard on it
(hand carving alabaster is hard work) and you put some detail in it (maybe considerable). i know dragons aren’t very easy subjects what with all the scales and such….
i say just put a price that you may think is too high and let the admirers put their money where their mouths are. if they really want it they’ll buy it, reguardless of the price. and if a person doesn’t want something like that it will never be cheap enough…..don’t cheapen your art for a sales sake.
