Which is better?
What are the pros and cons of each?
Could you somehow do a mix of both and create like a super sword?

Making a super sword is not enough. These days you would probably use a titanium alloy for that purpose. But even a super sword in the hands of an incompetent swordsman would be a waste of resources

Moreover I wouldn’t like to use a sword- even a super sword- against a guy with a machinegun
