Damascus Bar

Damascus Bar
Motives of the Crusaders?

1. What were the motives [notice the plural here] of the Crusaders? Nearly all the documents give clues to this (The Alexiad, Chronicle of Solomon bar Simson, Seige of Antioch, Damascus Chronicle). Which do you think were the more important and why? Use the documents to demonstrate why you think that.
I need mostly clues from those documents to support my answer..

Muslims owned Jerusalem that was the Holy Land for them due to the fact that many churches during those times were Catholic and Orthodox (Christians) they wanted to kick the Muslims out of there holy land thats why the Pope was involved in these Crusades.
