Global Knives is a World Leader in Stainless Steel Cutlery
Global knives are considered some of the best kitchen knives in the world. Manufactured in Japan since 1985, they were the first one-piece stainless steel kitchen knives on the international market. These knives are praised by professional chefs, as well as the average home chef.
After two decades, Global now has a product line of over 100 products.
Global knives are constructed of the finest stainless steel, utilizing Cromova 18 stainless steel, ice hardened to hold a sharp edge and resist rust and corrosion. Each knife is carefully weighted for the perfect balance in the hand to provide precise cutting. With no seams or traps for germs and food to become caught, these knives offer a hygienic, safe tool for the kitchen.
Global distributes its knives to more than 95 countries using 35 distributors. The knives have been praised for their modern and distinctive design, sharp thin durable blade, and easy use and care. These knives are manufactured from a harder alloy steel and made into a thinner blade than its competitors’ knives. The edge of the knives is sharper as well and can be sharpened to a more acute angle.
It’s recommended by Global to sharpen with a whetstone or ceramic tool. A sharp knife provides for more precise cutting. These knives are light weight and well balanced. The handle and blade are one continuous piece of steel with black indentations on the handle. In addition these black indentations can be found on accessories for use with a knife set.
Global has two knife lines, each with an additional supplementary line. The basic Global knives line is the G series. This series has 43 products in standard sizes. Each knife has a sharp, light, and clean blade for precise use. The GS series is the supplementary line which includes 27 products of smaller specialty knives.
The GF series is similar to the G series but is made of drop forged steel and is a heavy duty knife suitable for professional use. There are 11 products in this line and 13 products in the GSF series which is the small knives supplementary series.
Global also manufactures accessories such as spatulas, flatware, tongs, and sharpening tools of the same one-piece stainless steel design. Finally, several types of Global knives storage and magnetic racks are manufactured with the same stainless steel and matching the design on the handles. Any of these tools and knives can be purchased online.
