What do middle class homes look like in Saudi Arabia?

I’m writing a novel. My character (American) has gone to Riyadh, visiting a middle class home. Could you help me get some details right? (If the book gets picked up by a publisher, I’ll fly there and see for myself!) I don’t wish to insult anyone with these questions, but am trying to get my facts right.
Basically, what differences would my character experience? Do livingrooms, for example, look the same as in the US?
Bedrooms? Beds with mattresses? On or off the floor?
Washroom facilities? Any distinctive differences?
Dining rooms? What cutlery would my visitor and his hosts use?
I see pictures of Arab clothing on the internet, but the people are outside. Would they dress differently in their own houses, when visitors are present?
Please pardon my ignorance and, again, please don’t take offence. In no way am I assuming the Arabian family’s home and customs don’t measure up to American. I’m just looking for differences so that my story is realistic.
