Cut Antique

How much is it worth ?? I have a diamond to sell (brill ante) its an antique cut?
11 grain almost 4 carats from the 1920s. Can someone tell me its approx. value?
On something like that, you’ll have to take it to a jewelry appraiser, ask them to appraise it for the resale price, not the price insurance will pay for it. Resale price will be lower than insurance price, when you sell it, you’re going to lose money on it, no matter what. If the appraiser tells you he’ll give you X amount of money for it, take it to different appraiser and have it appraised there, when someone offers to buy something from you, they’re going to want to give you a very low price, especially if they know how much they can really get for it by reselling it themselves. Be careful selling diamonds over the internet, most places will ask you to send your diamond to them so they can appraise it and then they’ll send you a check (usually not much if they even send you one), there’s a good chance that you will not ever see your diamond again or the money that it’s worth. Best bet would be to take it to your local trusted jeweler. Good luck!
