I am visiting England this summer. How much stone from Stonehenge can I bring through customs with me?

I just want a few pounds for a souvenir.

It’s not common knowledge but ever since they discovered it was simply a megalithic golf course it’s been on the market.So, make an offer for the whole thing because we can’t even afford to create a proper visitor centre despite it bringing in around £5 million a year. Tell your freight company it weighs 1500 tons – but it breaks down into smaller units (largest is just short of 50 tons). I would offer say $50 for the lot, after all you have to foot the bill for removal and transport. Customs wont be a problem, we let anything and anybody in and out of the country without too much bother. If you get any problems say they are infringing your human rights (that always works), and if you’re not British you will qualify for accommodation and benefits while your dismantling the stones.
