I looking to buy a Honda Goldwing GL1800, what are some questions that I should be asking?

I have been on dirt bikes and crotch rockets before but this is a whole different class of motorcycle. I’m just trying to figure out what questions I should be asking and what I should be looking for when buying. Are there certain accessories that I should be looking for or some that I should stay away from. I want to make the best, most educated decision I can about buying one since they are very pricey. Hope some of the more experienced riders can give me some good advice
If you have any info on good deals on used goldwings (2001-2005) I would love to hear about that as well. I have been searching classifieds, ebay, and few member clubs looking for a decent price on a one. Thanks for any help you can give

There were a few factory updates that needed to be performed on the early ones, including a CRITICAL reweld of the frame, a dealership should be able to confirm that they were done. In general they are an awesome motorcycle, smooth, powerful, reliable, and great handling, you will not be disappointed.
