How does Marine Corps help me?

I am a girl and I want to go into the Marine Corps to help me get to my ultimate goal of being in the FBI on the swat team.
I want to enter the Marine Corps to get my tactical training but how do i go about this?
Do i go through training etc in Marine Corps then get a job in it?
Or do i have to stay in marine corps forever?
and if youve been in the marine corps how was it?
Im in college currently pursuing criminal justice. and on the FBI application it says to be on the tactical hostage team you must have a certian number of years on a tactical force of some kind. Which is what the marines has.
