Composite Blade

Taking a Wood Blade Out a Composite Shaft?
How do I do this?
Don’t use an open flame, it kills your composite shaft. You can use a heat gun. Its like a hair dryer but much much stronger. Its just glue holding the blade onto the shaft, so heat up the first 3 inches or so of the shaft, and the blade will slide right out.
Saying that, if you don’t have a heat gun, here are some alternatives. I don’t recommend any of them, but not everyone wants to buy a heat gun:
– go to your local skate shop, they’ll have a heat gun. Use theirs.
– use a hair dryer. This may take a while to heat up the glue enough.
– use the stove top element. This may also take a while because the heat isn’t directed anywhere.
