Whats a good knife for combat and balanced enough for throwing?

Anything would do, but im looking more for a tanto.
In response to eddie: i just started throwing knives, and already 8 outta 10 times i get the blade end stuck.

That’d be ninjuitsu, ninjas back in the old day used that style with tanto knives and used the shuriken for throwing, don’t think you’ll ever be in the situation for throwing a knife because there’s jack-all chance of hitting someone. It’s like 1 in 10 throw or something.
