My friend lives in Farmingdale Ny on Long Island. Shes wants to use a Tai chi jian but can’t find a teacher.?

Shes 14 and is debating on taking Tae kwon Do or learning how to use a Jian, she just can’t find a school/Dojo somewhere nearby can someone help?
She wants to use a Gin/jian sword! Does she just need to learn Tai Chi?

I would try the closer school, Lets just say the farther school is not that great and is an insult to Tai Chi.
