What is the dream interpretation of a parade and then being followed by a murderer afterward?

It was a night parade, Idk what for but I was on a float. Afterward I was with this guy who was my boyfriend in the dream. We were walking home and this burn victim guy was stalking me. He was dressed in all black and had on a leather jacket. He could run really fast, like a cheetah but I could run pretty fast as well. My boyfriend disappeared and the guy was chasing me. I ran to a house that was like a beach house, I had to go upstairs to get in. I hid but he broke out all the windows and was crying. He said he loved me but he had a big knife, and like I said just looked deformed and scary. His features were like melted and smoothe like a scar, very creepy face.
I woke myself up several times because I was tired of running and pretty freaked out. I did not want this guy to touch me, knife or no knife. Every time I went back to sleep I went back to the dream. When he cornered me in the house I just gave up on sleep and woke up.

Ordinarily, I would say this dream means you are doing something wrong in your life of which you are pretty much aware and you should change it. I, for instance, had a recurring dream that Mansonites were chasing me, and it helped me figure out I had to leave the big city where I was going nowhere to pursue my career back home.

What throws me off with you is that when this guy confronts you, he starts crying. That puts me in mind of celebrity stalkers, although we do not hear of crying, necessarily, but that may be what they are really feeling inside. This is reinforced for me by the fact that you are in a parade … on display, as it were. Are you a performer of some sort?

Is there something you are doing that you should not be doing? Perhaps you are concerned with image and are doing things, in a relationship, etc., for show, or because others think you should do/be that way. But this thing in your life may not be real for you, hence, it deserts you when the going gets rough like the boyfriend in the dream. And your feelings will hunt you down to try to overtake you in your pursuit of this false thing. Marrying the wrong person? Studying something that Mom and/or Dad want you to but which is not in your heart? The dream may not necessarily be telling you you are doing a bad thing but just going in the wrong direction.

Also, in my experience, houses represent your head. Something breaking out the windows to get to you is really trying to get your attention. Let us know, if you wish, if this matches up with anything in your life!

One more thing: if you are not a star in real life, perhaps you are a star in your family. That might give you a sense of entitlement. That might be something you just might want to watch out for so it won’t lead you into situations in which you don’t have any help. Or, another intepretation could be something very simple, such as that someone is pursuing you who is wrong for you. But something has you in fear and running and I hope you will be able to figure out what that is. God bless!
