Would it be appropriate to wear cat eye makeup to this event?

I recently won a scholarship from UCLA and they are inviting me to go to the campus tomorrow for a so-called “casual” event at the campus. It’s purpose is to meet all the other scholarship winners and interact with them and whatnot.

Don’t do the cat eye makeup, do your regular makeup, but don’t go overboard. Wait until after the meet and great to cut lose.
