How to fix grease leaking out of drive shaft between front dif and rear transfer case 2000 jimmy.?

2000 Jimmy. Grease is leaking out of drive shaft between the front differential and rear transfer case. Is this Bad, and should it be fixed asap?

I believe what you are describing is the splined slip joint near the center of the front driveshaft. My guess is you are a stickler for maintenence? Is someone overzealously greasing the joint and the excess is getting squeezed out? If it concerns you have it checked next time you get service, but I doubt it is serious.
