Free Report: The Secret of Successful Guerilla Marketing

Guerilla Marketing is sexy as hell.

It’s a bootstrap way to attract attention without relying on traditional media. Wikipedia defines Guerilla Marketing as: “…an unconventional system of promotions that relies on time, energy and imagination rather than a big marketing budget.”

Unfortunately, Guerilla Marketing is almost a coffee table concept in some marketing circles – cool to talk about, but not worth sweating over. Which is a shame since Guerilla Marketing is a cheap (or even free) way to create an event with high value potential for your business.

Here’s a quick story about one Guerilla Marketing tactic I saw on the upper west side of New York City…

I was walking with a group of friends to Central Park, and on the way, a member of our group had to use a restroom, so the rest of us just loitered outside a shop by a busy street corner – and that’s where I saw the Guerilla Marketing tactic at play…

A well dressed man was walking up to people who were waiting to cross the street (usually demure looking men) and starting conversation – at some point before the light changed, he would shout: You’re CRAZY, I’m not eating there for lunch! They charge you an arm and a leg! I can get a great pastrami sandwich, a drink, and a bag of chips for less than ten bucks at Harry’s down the street!

Then he’d take off down the street toward Harry’s (or whatever the name of the place was, I can’t remember) taking with him at least a few folks enticed by his Guerilla Marketing “hook” of an inexpensive meal in an otherwise very pricey neighborhood…

What was the big secret behind the success of this particular Guerilla Marketing tactic?

Attention.

In this case, the man was fabricating a public disagreement, which, especially in New York is harder to ignore than a vuvzela at a funeral… (New Yorkers are great however, at covering up their interest by looking at their iPhones)… But in any Guerilla Marketing scenario, you’ve got to find a way to grab attention. Catch people off guard. Appeal to their desires when they’re not expecting it.

One of the best ways you can harness that attention is to capture your audience’s contact information for followup marketing. In this digital age, you should at the very least get an email address… Email list building and Guerilla Marketing go hand in hand.

On the next page is a “Guerilla Video” you should see… It’s going to show you how you can build a significant email marketing presence for your business and rake in profits with the push of a button…
