It really bugs me because the clown in the series is the same. what do you think the song means?

I just read the lyrics and they reference Major Tom from Space Oddity at lot. I have no idea besides trying to warn up not to mess with Tom. As to the video, until today I haven’t seen it and I didn’t watch it all. David Bowie is a strange one, although I did love him in the movie Labyrinth.
