When journalists get injured, they get treated at military hospitals. WHO PAYS? Do taxpayers foot the bill?

I’m glad that CBS’ Kimberly Dozier and ABC Bob Woodard (?) got top notch medical care from military surgeons…but do their employers reimburse the government? I beleive they should. Anyone know?

Nope, a military hospital will bill a health insurance company for the care recieved by a civilian. And, a Military hospital will treat American citizens overseas that are injured as a result of combat with no regard for their ability to pay. They are Americans. But, Dozier and Woodruff both had good insurance and I assure you they where billed.
