The Restaurants Of Disneyland Hotels And Theme Parks Are Attractions In Themselves
The aim of Disneyland Paris is to create a world of wonderment for children and their families. But the Disney creativity is not limited to the funpark rides – in fact, the restaurants and cafes in and around the park and Disneyland hotels provide an enjoyable experience as well. From snack bars to formal dining, every venue has something special to offer.
Naturally, the majority of restaurants within Disneyland are designed to cater for children, and kids will never be bored when it comes to mealtimes. The Rainforest Cafe is a fun venue, with a jungle theme, and includes an aquarium entranceway in its many features. You will hear thunderstorm sound effects and animal noises while you have lunch, to really complete the effect of being in a tropical rainforest. Pizza Planet is a venue taken straight out of the fictional world of the Toy Story movie. With a playground and video games to keep children entertained, this is more than your average pizza joint. If you like your dinner entertainment more action-packed, take in a live show with your meal. One such option is Buffalo Bill’s Wild West show, where diners can enjoy a buffet meal and a live performance in the style of a spaghetti Western. There’s also a Caribbean-themed dining area at the Blue Lagoon restaurant, with palm trees surrounding the tables, and a menu of delicious seafood dishes.
If you would like a break from the animated themed restaurants, there are also some more upmarket options to keep the grown ups happy. There is the Steakhouse, which is a stylish warehouse-style restaurant in style of the Chicago steakhouses in the US. Linen tableclothes, wood-panel walls and silver cutlery accompany fantastic steaks. There is also Auberge de Cendrillon which is constructed to replicate a French country house, and the meals here are French style cuisine. You can even choose from some top Disney restaurants outside the main theme park. If you are staying at one of the Disneyland hotels and would like to eat in, you’ll find each hotel has a restaurant which ties in with its overall theme. However, if you would rather book one of the cheap hotels further afield, you will still be able to enjoy the massive range of eating places within the Disneyland theme park.
