Laughing in verse
At night Spirits curse
Wings open wide with each feather like blade
It’s an ancient dark trade that make devils look worthless
or- at least like side liners to great writers of prose
whose lines like lifes vines fertile intellect grows.

I REALLY like this, I kinda re-wrote the way I would say it; obviously, this is just my own thoughts.

That dance around our temple of words
Whose lines like life’s vines fertile intellect grows.

I love your last line– pure imagery and rhythmically enticing
