Black Aluminum
I recently fryed a turkey in aluminum pot and the oil and turkey turned black. Any ideas why?
Will this continue to happen? Is a stainless steel pot a better way to go?
Happened to me before too man.
The bottom of your pot was probably very thin like mine was. Aluminum pots in general tend to be thin so the bottom of your oil burned and as it bubbled it turned the rest of it black.
