Would i get stopped by police in new york…?

If i carried my kbar knife on my side. I am a biker and I’ve had my knife with me everywhere I go. I am going to Harlem to visit a friend and he said as long as i am with him I’ll be fine but I am white and he told me that might be a problem in his project. I am not scarred accept i know theres a lot of police so would I be stopped if I carried it NON-conceiled on my side. Its about a 10 in. blade.
BTW I know its illegal but it is illegal where I am at in Florida but cops don’t say shit to me just wondering if I would be stopped by NYC polic
