Bar Short

New lip piercing. Is the bar too short?

I’ve wanted snakebites for 4 years now and I finally got my lip done. My piercer sugguested I only have one side done first. I have quite big lips so I was worried the bar was too small. It’s a bit swollen but it feels too small because the back of my lip seems to be going over the flat back of the stud.
Is it just swellin or is the bar really too short?

Yes, the bar is too short. The barbell should be long enough to accommodate the swelling. Go back to your piercer and get it switched for a longer barbell.
