Will the military move our stuff from two different locations?

When doing an assisted PCS move with the army will they move your stuff from two different locations? I am currently living with my parents now and have stuff at there house in Columbia, SC and have stuff in storage in Charlotte, NC these two places are two hours away from eachother. Will they pick up our stuff from both places and/or will there be a fee?

The military will hire movers to move your belongings. You are authorized a certain mileage from the location where you are suppose to be residing to the place where the AD member will be stationed. If you have your things in two locations that have an equal distance from there to the base/post he is assigned to then yes. If they are different mileage where you are authorized a shipment from 1000 miles but one set of things is 1300 miles you will have to pay for the 300 mile difference. But if you are authorized 1300 miles and one is 1000 miles then you do not have to pay the difference. Both locations will have to be authorized as well and if you or the AD member can’t be in one location then the AD member must issue a POA to someone who will be there when the movers come.
