Appaloosa Bone

my appaloosa is 21 years old and he weighed alot and now he is skin and bones please help?

my appaloosa who is a gelding named Prince has droped alot of weight in just a few months we put him with my mare and my other gelding when i did this he just started droping weight please tell me what i should feed him to get his weight back up so he is healthy and happy and how i should care for him . thanks so much Alisha
yes i had the vet check him out she gave him medicine and told me to give it to him twice a day and i do but he still isnt getting fat . i gave him worm medicine and seperated him but he hates being alone so he gets skinner and i put him with them and hes happy but not healthy
i bought a very expensive blanket and he seems to like it but he hates hay he will not eat it .

First of all and more importantly, separate them., Next, add corn oil and Lixotinit (google them) to your horse’s diet. In addition to any hay that you are feeding, also feed either alfalfa hay or cubes, it’s what they need. Keep a salt block and a mineral block (separate) available and plenty of fresh water…keep good quality hay available at all times…don’t forget to worm your horse and have your vet inspect your horse’s teeth.
